mitunter haarsträubende Geschichten und scheinbar wahre Tatsachenberichte erzählt und jeder Katzenbesitzer fragt sich nach der Lektüre: Was ist denn die Alternative zu herkömmlichen Katzenfutter?Dabei ist die Antwort doch ganz einfach!
Natürliche Katzenernährung mit Rohfutter
Sicher ist, dass Katzen Mäuse nicht nur zum Zeitvertreib fangen, sondern bei Bedarf als vollkommen natürliche Nahrung. Da heutzutage die meisten Katzen nicht auf einem romantischen Bauernhof geboren werden, sondern im schlimmsten Fall in engen Stadtwohnungen, kennen viele Katzen eine gesunde (natürliche und naturbelassene) Ernährung überhaupt nicht.Da man im herkömmlichen Einzelhandel nur selten ein Kilo Mäuse angeboten bekommt, bietet sich zumindest Rohfutter an, welches aus echtem Fleisch besteht und der Katze die Art von Ernährung - und vor allem die richtigen Nährstoffe - bietet, die sie eigentlich braucht.
Lösung: BARF Katzenfutter
B.A.R.F steht für "Biologisches Artgerechtes Rohes Futter", kommt ursprünglich aus den USA und bezeichnet eine relative neue Art der Tier- und Katzenernährung.In diesem Sinne wird ausschließlich rohes Fleisch, Knochen und Gemüse verfüttert, wobei der Tierhalter für die ausgewogene Zusammensetzung selber sorgen muss. Da kommt Freude auf: Spielend die Katze beschäftigen
Katzen sind von Natur aus verspielte Tiere, die ihr Leben quasi in Dösen und Spielen aufteilen und zwischendrin etwas essen.Katzen wollen beschäftigt werden, besonders solche, die größtenteils im Haus leben und wenig Freilauf haben. Katzen in freier Wildbahn spielen mit Gegenständen aus der Natur und auch mit gefangenen Kleintieren, das ist vor allem bei Katzenjungen zu beobachten.
Du kannst deine Katze richtig beschäftigen, indem du ihr Spielzeug besorgst und ihr zeigst, was man damit machen kann. Als Spielzeug geeignet sind jedoch nicht nur synthetische (oftmals überteuerte) Produkte, sondern beispielsweise auch ein altbewährtes Wollknäuel oder ein Socken, der eigentlich in die Altkleidersammlung gehört.
Katzen wollen spielen
Mit einer Schnur daran ergibt sich aus allen weichen Gegenständen, die z.B. einer Maus ähneln, ein tolles Spielzeug, mit dem man Katzen richtig toll beschäftigen kann!Sobald deine Katze verstanden hat, wie das jeweilige Spielzeug zu benutzen ist, wird sie bei Bedarf sicher auch allein damit spielen - Trotzdem macht es nicht nur der Katze, sondern auch dir sicher sehr viel Spaß, zusammen zu spielen und quasi etwas zu unternehmen.

Far Cry by John Harvey
I truly love John Harvey mysteries. They are among the best of British police procedurals and in each of the series, from Charlie Resnick and Frank Elder to D.I. Will Grayson, the characters are sympathetic and fully drawn. The stories develop in their own time, but with no wasted words and misjudged feints. The fog of the Cornwall coast feels as real as yesterday's weather report and the miserable lives behind the crimes can get a good man down, if he doesn't take good care. In this particularly strong offering, Harvey introduces us to two crusty male detectives who insist on fuller investigations than their colleagues, and bear their emnity for it. A female assistant D.I. is so clearly ready for more challenges that we fear her professionalism may become compromised while she struggles to fill the gaps in her life. Harvey patiently wraps us in strands from several cold and current cases. No need to read this in conjunction with any of Harvey's others, but you'll probably want to, simply because Harvey makes you feel you spent a week away.

On June 17, CHAMPS - Capitol Hill’s Chamber of Commerce presents ARTventures on H. From 5-7:30pm, ten different galleries and art spaces along the H Street Corridor will open their doors to the Capitol Hill community for a special neighborhood art walk. Participants will each be given an ARTventures “passport,” to be stamped at each stop on the art walk. For every stamp received, attendees receive an increased discount at more than ten participating restaurants that evening from 7-9pm.
